나이가 어느 정도 들었다는 것은 자기 보다 젊은 사람들에게 유익이 될만한 지식을 가지고 입술로 가르칠 있어야 하지 않나 생각한다.  그래서 젊은이들은 나이 드신 어른을 보면 '그래도 분에게는 그나마 배울점이 있어'라는 말을 들을 있어야 하지 않나 생각한다.  그런데 그보다 중요한 것은 젊은 사람들이 나이드신 어른을 때 '나는 저분을 존경합니다'라는 말을 들을 있는 것이  중요하지 않나 생각합니다.  어른들의 지식은 우리에게 지적인 배움을 있지만  분들의 인품과 덕망과 지혜는 우리로 하여금 분들을 향하여 존경심을 주는 같습니다.
