اليوم الخامس والثلاثون : شيخٌ جميل [ تأمل في المزمور 71: 9] " لا ترفضني في وقت الشيخوخة؛ لا تتركني حين تفنى قوتي " ( مزمور 71: 9). شخصياً، لا أحب الإشارة إلى كبار السن بمجرد كلمة *noin-ne* ( وهو مصطلح غير رسمي، وأحياناً يحمل دلالة انتقاص أو استخفاف بمعنى " عجوز "). ومع ذلك، وبينما كنت أتأمل في نص اليوم وأضع عنواناً لهذه الخاطرة هو " شيخ جميل " ، وجدت نفسي متردداً - نظراً لدقائق اللغة الكورية - فيما إذا كان من المناسب حقاً استخدام كلمة *neulgeuni* ( عجوز ) لوصف الأجداد والجدات . إن قصدي هو ببساطة التأمل في الكتاب المقدس باستخدام عبارة " وقت الشيخوخة " الواردة فيه . وكل ما أرجوه هو ألا يسبب مصطلح *neulgeuni* أي ألم لقلوب كبار السن . ورغبتي هي استكشاف - انطلاقاً من نص اليوم - ثلاثة جوانب تشكّل جمال الشيخ، ومن هو الشيخ الجميل حقاً في عيني الله . ومن خلال ذلك، أطمح أيضاً أن أصبح أنا نفسي شيخ...
‘You may know that you have eternal life.” (10) [1 John 5:13-21] The fourth assurance is the assurance that we belong to God. In other words, it is the assurance that those who are born of God, that is, those who are born again (regenerated) belong to God and not to this world ruled by Satan.
