무조건 순종 갈릴리 가나의 결혼식 때 하인들은 예수님의 어머니의 말씀인 " 무엇이든지 그가 ( 예수님이 ) 시키는 대로 하여라 " 대로 예수님께서 그들에게 여섯 개의 돌 " 항아리마다 물을 가득 채워라 " 는 말씀에 순종했습니다 . 그 뿐만 아니라 그 하인들은 예수님께서 " 이제 떠다가 잔치 책임자에게 갖다 주어라 " 고 말씀하시자 " 그대로 하였 " 습니다 ( 요한복음 2:5-8). 어떻게 포도주가 떨어졌는데 돌항아리마다 물을 가득 채워라는 예수님의 말씀에 그 하인들은 순종할 수 있었을까요 ? 분명히 그 하인들은 돌항아리에 자신들을 물을 가득 채웠는데 예수님께서 " 이제 떠다가 잔치 책임자에게 갖다 주어라 " 는 말씀에 순종할 수 있었을까요 ? 분명히 그들은 자신들이 떠나다 잔채 책임자에게 갖다 주는 것이 자신들이 그 항아리에 가득 채운 물인 줄 알았을텐데 말입니다 . 과연 그들은 그 순간에 예수님께서 그 물을 포도주로 변화된 기적을 믿었을까요 ? 성경 요한복음 2 장 11 절을 보면 " 예수님이 갈릴리 가나에서 처음으로 이런 기적을 행하여 그의 영광을 나타내시자 제자들은 예수님을 믿게 되었다 " 고 말씀하고 있습니다 . 예수님의 " 제자들은 " 예수님을 믿게 되었지만 그 하인들도 예수님을 믿게 되었다는 말씀이 없습니다 . 배워야 할 교훈은 하인이란 주님의 말에 무조건 순종해야 한다는 것입니다 . 자기 이성이나 감정이나 의지해서 주인의 말을 순종하고 안하고가 아니라 하인은 주인의 말에 무조건 순종해야 한다는 것을 생각해 볼 때 우리가 진정 주님의 종이라면 주님의 말씀에 무조건 순종해야 한다는 교훈을 받습니다 .
