"본능이 주도권을 잡으면 욕심이 되는 것입니다.  통제를 받아야 것이 전체 삶을 장악하고 지배합니다.  바로 그것이 혼돈입니다.  바로 그것이 욕심이라는 말이 의미하는 것입니다.   말은 정과 본능이 우리를 사로잡아 지배하는 것을 의미합니다.  정욕이나 본능이 이지를 침묵케 하고 양심과 하나님의 소리를 묵살해버립니다.  이러한 일이 있을 사람의 상태는 혼돈과 혼란의 상태로 야기됩니다."
