Yes, I tell you, this generation will be held responsible” (Luke 11:49–51). (1) As I meditated on today’s passage, Luke 11:49–51, I first looked into the Greek text. The phrase that immediately caught my attention was “διὰ τοῦτο” (dia touto) in verse 49.
