절제 할 수 없으면 결혼해야 합니다.  음행을 피하기 위해서라도 결혼을 해야 합니다 ( 고린도전서 7:1).   부부의 의무는 서로의 성적 만족을 주는 것입니다 (3 절 ).   그러기 위해서라도 부부는 서로 분방하지 말아야 합니다 (5 절 ).   그렇지 않으면 그 는 절제 못하므로 말미암아 사탄의 유혹에 빠져 성적 죄를 범하게 될 것입니다 (5 절 ).   그러므로 만일 절제할 수 없으면 결혼해야 합니다 .   정욕이 불 같이 타는 것보다 결혼하는 것이 낫습니다 (9 절 ).
