  1. 첫 번째 의무: 남편은 주님 예수님의 살아있는 그림인 것을 항상 기억하고 있어야 합니다 (the first duty: a husband must always remember that as a husband he is a living picture of  the Lord Jesus.) a. 남편은 진실 되게 말해야 합니다 (a husband ought to speak truthfully.) (i) 남자가 그 아내를 어떻게 대하느냐에 따라 그가 그리스도에 대하여 진실 되게 말하는지 안 하 는지 알 수가 있습니다(the way of the man treats his wife will determine whether he is  speaking the truth about Christ or not). 2. 두 번째 의무: 남편은 자기 몸을 돌보듯이 아내를 양육하고 보호해야 합니다 (엡 5:29) (the second duty: a man must nourish and cherish his wife in the same way that he cares for  his own body). a. 만일 남자가 자기 아내를 특별히 또한 부드럽게 돌보지 안으면서 그녀가 열매맺으며 또한 사랑 스럽기를 기대한다면 진정한 남편이 절대 아닌 것입니다(a man who does not take particular  and tender care of his wife, and who then expects her to be fruitful and lovely, is not  being a true husband at all). 3. 세 번째 의무: 남편은 질투해야 하며 또한 아내를 보호해야 합니다(출34:14b).     (the third duty: a husband must be jealous and protective). a. 남편에게는 경건한 질투가 있어야 합니다. 그러나 이러한 남자의 질투는 죄...
