A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. In order to save fallen humanity, God first comes to us, sends His Son, and sends the Holy Spirit. He is the “missionary God” who sends. 들리는 원망의 소리를 기회로 삼아야 합니다 . “그 때에 제자가 더 많아졌는데 헬라파 유대인들이 자기의 과부들이 그 매일 구제에 빠지므로 히브리파 사람을 원망한대” ( 사도행전 6 장 1 절 ). 직장이던 가정이던 교회이던 어느 조직에서나 우리는 원망의 소리를 듣습니다 . 그 이유는 직장 안에서나 가정 안에서나 심지어 교회 안에서도 만족하지 못하는 사람들이 있기 때문입니다 . 그리고 그들이 불만족하는 이유는 직장이나 가정이나 교회 안에 못마땅한 일이 있기 때문일 것입니다 . 그 못마땅한 일들 중 하나는 어쩌면 불공평한 처사 때문일 것입니다 . 결국 직장이나 가정이나 교회 안에서 우리가 듣는 원망의 소리를 불공평한 처사로 인한 불만족에서 나오는 원망의 소리가 아닌가 생각됩니다 . 그런데 문제는 우리가 그 사실을 짐작하면서도 직장이나 가정이나 교회 안에서 원망의 소리를 들을 때 우리의 마음은 편치 않을 때가 많습니다 . 그리고 우리는 어찌할 바를 모를 때도 많이 있습니다 . 우리는 어떻게 해야 합니까 ? 우리는 원망의 소리를 들을 때 하나님께서 우리에게 주시는 기회로 삼아야 합니다 . 어떠한 기회입니까 ? 오늘 본문 사도행전 6 장 1 절을 보면 초대 교회에 성령의 충만한 역사 가운데 사도들이 핍박과 능욕 가운데서도 (5:41) 날마다 성전에 있든지 집에 있든지 예수는 그리스도라 가르치기와 전도하기를 쉬지 아니하므로 (42 절 ) 제자들이 더 많아졌습니다 (6:1)....
