We are taught that we must become upright people who, in God’s sight, are blameless and fully keep His commandments. “In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron. Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commands and decrees blamelessly” [(Modern Translation: “When Herod was king of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah of the division of Abijah, and his wife Elizabeth also came from the family of Aaron. They were righteous before God and faithfully kept all the Lord’s commandments and regulations without fault”)] (Luke 1:5–6). While meditating on this passage, I would like to draw out the lessons given to us: (1) The author of Luke’s Gospel, Luke, first wrote to Theophilus about John the Baptist’s parents. 탐심 속에서 한 사람이 불순종하므로 ... 하나님께서 이스라엘 백성들에게 여리고 성을 주실 때에 " 고통을 당하게 되지 아니하도록 오직 너희는 그 바친 물건에 손대지 말라 " 고 명하셨는데 ( 수 6:18) 아간이란 한 사람이 탐심 속에서 (7:21) 하나님의 명령에 불순종하므로 " 이스라엘 자손들이 온전히 바친 물건으로 말미암아 범죄 " 했습니다 (1 절 ). 성경은 아간 한 사람의 불순종이 온 이스라엘 자손들이 범죄했다고 말씀하고 있습니다 . 그리고 그 한 사람이 " 우리를 괴롭게 하였 " 다고 말씀하고 있습니다 (25 절 ). 성경 로마서 5 장 18-19 절 말씀이 생각납니다 : " 그런즉 한 범죄로 많은 사람이 정죄에 이른 것 같이 한 의로운 행위로 말미암아 많은 사람이 의롭다 하심을 받아 생명에 이르렀느니라 한 사람이 순종하지 아니함으로 많은 사람이 죄인 된 것 같이 한 사람이 순종하심으로 많은 사람이 의인이 되리라 ."
