We are taught that we must become upright people who, in God’s sight, are blameless and fully keep His commandments. “In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron. Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commands and decrees blamelessly” [(Modern Translation: “When Herod was king of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah of the division of Abijah, and his wife Elizabeth also came from the family of Aaron. They were righteous before God and faithfully kept all the Lord’s commandments and regulations without fault”)] (Luke 1:5–6). 우리는 하나님께 간구하는 것도 익숙해야 합니다. 우리가 영적 전쟁에서 승리하기 위해선 하나님의 말씀에만 익숙할 뿐만 아니라 하나님께 간구하는 것도 익숙해야 합니다 . 즉 , 우리는 하나님께 부르짖는 것이 익숙해야 합니다 . 그만큼 우리는 하나님을 의뢰하는 사람들이 되야 합니다 . 즉 , 우리는 하나님을 의뢰하고 의뢰하는 사람들이 되야 합니다 ( 시 22:4). 하나님을 신뢰하므로 우리는 하나님께 부르짖어야 합니다 . 그리할 때 하나님께서는 우리에게 귀를 귀울이시고 ( 시 77:1) 반드시 우리의 부르짖음을 들으십니다 ( 출 22:23). 그리고 하나님께서는 우리에게 응답하실 것입니다 ( 시 3:4, 86:7, 120:1). 하나님께서는 우리에게 승리를 주실 것입니다 ( 고전 15:57).
