Devotional Reflection Based on the Incident of Peter Cutting Off Malchus's Ear: “Then one of those standing near drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.” ( Mark 14:47, Today's Korean Version ) 1. Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.” ( John 18:10 ) 2. 먼저 가서 형제와 화해하고 다시 와서 하나님께 예배를 드리는 그리스도인이 몇 명이나 될까요?  이유 없는 형제에게 화내고 , 어리석다고 욕하며  또한 " 이 미련한 놈아 !" 라고 말한 후에도  하나님의 성전에 올라와 예배를 드리다가  그 형제에게 원망들을 만한 일이 생각났으면  먼저 가서 그 형제와 화해하고  다시 와서 하나님께 예배를 드리는  우리 그리스도인이 몇 명이나 될까요 ?  ( 마태복음 5:22-24, 현대인의 성경 )
