선으로 바꾸시는 하나님을 믿기에 ... 나발은 악으로 다윗의 선을 갚았습니다 ( 삼상 25:21). 사울 왕은 다윗을 학대하였지만 다윗은 그를 선대하였습니다 (24:17). 미려한 그리스도인은 하나님의 선을 오히려 악으로 갚습니다 . 그러나 지혜로운 그리스도인은 다윗처럼 자기를 학대하는 사람에게도 선하게 대합니다 . 그 이유는 그는 하나님은 선하시사 학대를 돌이켜 선으로 바꾸시는 하나님이신 줄 믿기 때문입니다 ( 창 50:20).
