We are taught that we must become upright people who, in God’s sight, are blameless and fully keep His commandments. “In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron. Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commands and decrees blamelessly” [(Modern Translation: “When Herod was king of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah of the division of Abijah, and his wife Elizabeth also came from the family of Aaron. They were righteous before God and faithfully kept all the Lord’s commandments and regulations without fault”)] (Luke 1:5–6). 기도자의 순종의 삶? 기도의 중요성을 강조하면서 실제로 자신도 기도를 많이하고 있지만 기도자의 마음과 삶의 변화가 결핍되어 인간 관계에서 주님의 사랑을 비취지 못하는 것 보다 , 주님만 의지하며 주님의 은혜를 일상생활 순간순간 사모하면서 그 주님의 크신 은혜를 깨달아 알아 감사하는 마음으로 주님의 계명에 순종하여 이웃을 사랑하는 것이 훨씬 낫습니다 .
