Those Who Bring Good News Must Also Rebuke in Love “But when John rebuked Herod the tetrarch because of his marriage to Herodias , his brother’s wife, and all the other evil things he had done, Herod added this to them all: He locked John up in prison.” ( Luke 3:18–20 ) As I meditate on these verses, I wish to receive the lesson contained in them. (1) John the Baptist, who proclaimed “good news” to the people (Luke 3:18), rebuked “ Herod the tetrarch ” (v.19)—the same Herod Antipas mentioned in verse 1 (Hokmah)—because of “ his marriage to Herodias , his brother’s wife, and all the other evil things he had done” (v.19). (a) The phrase “ his brother’s wife Herodias ” (v.19) refers to the fact that Herod took his brother Philip’s wife, Herodias (Matt. 14:4; Mark 6:17). 버림을 받았다는 느낌(생각)이 들 때에는 ... 태어나서 자라날 때 제일 중요한 사랑하는 부모님에게 버림을 받은 고통 , 장성하여 결혼했는데 사랑하는 배우자에게 버림을 받은 고통 , 노년기 때 사랑하는 자식에게 버림을 받는 고통 , 이 땅에서의 삶에는 사랑하는 사람에게 버림을 받는 고통이 있습니다 . 이렇게 사랑하는 사람에게 버림을 받는 고통도 견디기가 힘들고 고통스러울 텐데 하물며 사랑의 주님께 버림을 받았다는 느낌 ( 생각 ) 이 들 때에는 얼마나 고통스러울까요 ( 사사기 6:3, 시편 22:1)
