We are taught that we must become upright people who, in God’s sight, are blameless and fully keep His commandments. “In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron. Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commands and decrees blamelessly” [(Modern Translation: “When Herod was king of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah of the division of Abijah, and his wife Elizabeth also came from the family of Aaron. They were righteous before God and faithfully kept all the Lord’s commandments and regulations without fault”)] (Luke 1:5–6). While meditating on this passage, I would like to draw out the lessons given to us: (1) The author of Luke’s Gospel, Luke, first wrote to Theophilus about John the Baptist’s parents. " 순종이 제사보다 낫 " 다는 말씀이 생각납니다 ( 삼상 15:22). 우리가 하나님께서 1,000 번의 예배를 드릴 때에 사단은 그의 1,000 명의 종들로 하여금 우리를 미혹합니다 . 우리 입장에서는 하나님께 1,000 번의 예배를 드리는 것이 하나님께서 기뻐하실 것이라 라고 생각할 수 있을지 모르겠지만 하나님의 입장에서는 우리가 하나님의 1 번째 명령을 순종하는 것을 더 기뻐하십니다 .
