고난이 없는 악인의 형통함보다는 고난이 있는 의인의 형통함이 낫습니다. 우리가 질투할만한 " 악인의 형통함 " 에는  " 사람들이 당하는 고난 " 이나 " 재앙 " 이나  " 고통 " 이 없기에 교만해 질 수밖에 없습니다 .   그러나 의인의 형통함에는  그 고난이나 재앙이나 고통이 있기에  겸손히 순종할 수밖에 없습니다 ( 시편 73:3-6, 14, 16; 히브리서 5:8).
