It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. 원망하는 마음은 점진적으로 과거를 그리워합니다 . 가데스에서 모세와 다퉜던 이스라엘 백성들은 (1) “우리 형제들이 여호와 앞에서 죽을 때에 우리도 죽었더라면 좋을 뻔하였도다” ( 민 20:3; 참고 : 16:31-25) 라고 말한 후 , (2) “너희가 어찌하여 여호와의 회중을 이 광야로 인도하여 우리와 우리 짐승이 다 여기서 죽게 하느냐” (20:4) 라고 말했고 , (3) 결국에 가서는 “너희가 어찌하여 우리를 애굽에서 나오게 하여 이 나쁜 곳으로 인도하였느냐 …” (5 절 ) 라고 말했습니다 . 이 (1) ~ (3) 까지의 내용의 흐름을 보면 이스라엘 백성들의 입장에서 제일 근래에 있었던 (1) 에서 좀 더 과거인 (2), 그리고 결국 (3) 에 가서는 그 셋 중에 제일 과거인 “애굽”에서 왜 자기들을 나오게 했냐고 모세를 원망했습니다 . 이렇게 원망하는 마음은 점진적으로 과거로 돌아갑니다 . 우리에게 원망하는 마음이 있으면 우리는 이렇게 점진적으로 과거로 돌아가 결국에 가서는 예수님을 믿기 전에 “애굽”과 같은 이 죄악된 세상에서의 삶을 그리워합니다 .
