For some of us, it’s been a while. In our hard-working, highly productive culture, we can sometimes feel like exhausted swimmers swept downstream in a fast-moving river, fighting to keep our heads above water, gasping for air. We get up early and stay up late. We never waste a minute. Our schedule is full, running here, running there, running late, running to catch up, running on empty, until we collapse in utter exhaustion. Underneath the satisfaction of being hard-working, hard-playing people is a weariness that’s desperate for the pace to relent so we can rest and recharge. Deep down, we’re dying to slow down and take a break. We keep telling ours...
미리 용서의 기도를 드리자. 나는 나에게 잘못한 사람이 나에게 용서를 구하지 않는다 할지라도 적어도 자기가 나에게 무엇을 잘못했는지 스스로 깨닫길 원한다 . 그런데 예수님께서는 자기를 십자가에 못박으라고 외친 자기 백성인 유대인들이 자신들이 범한 죄가 얼마나 큰지도 모르고 있었는데도 하나님 아버지께 " 아버지여 저희를 사하여 주옵소서 " 라고 십자가 상에서 기도하셨다 ( 눅 23:34). 성령충만한 스데반 집사님도 자기를 돌로 치는 유대인들을 위하여 " 주여 이 죄를 그들에게 돌리지 마옵소서 " 라고 기도했다 ( 행 7:60). 자신들의 죄를 깨닫지도 못하고 있는 사람들을 미리 ( 선제 ) 용서하신 것이다 . 주님께서 나같이 자신이 지은 수없는 많은 죄를 미리 용서해 주셨다는 사실을 깨달았다면 나 또한 나에게 죄지은 사람이 자기의 죄를 깨닫지 못하고 있다 할지라도 미리 용서하는 기도를 하나님께 드려야 할 것이다 .
