Devotional Reflection Based on the Incident of Peter Cutting Off Malchus's Ear: “Then one of those standing near drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.” ( Mark 14:47, Today's Korean Version ) 1. Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.” ( John 18:10 ) 2. 그리스도인은 행복한 사람입니다. 하늘에 계시는 하나님 아버지께서 우리로 하여금 예수님은 주님이시요 그리스도이시며 살아 계신 하나님의 아들이심을 알게 하심을 받은 그리스도인은 행복한 사람입니다 ( 참고 : 마태복음 16:16-17, 현대인의 성경 ).

예수님은 누구이신가?

예수님은 누구이신가? 하늘에 계신 하나님 아버지의 계시로  사도 베드로는 예수님은 " 주는 그리스도시요  살아계신 하나님의 아들이시니이다 " 라고  신앙을 고백할 수 있었습니다 ( 마 16:16-17). 사도 바울은 다메섹 도상에서  부활하신 예수님을 만난 후  예수님은 그리스도요 하나님의 아들이심을  전파했습니다 ( 행 9:5, 20, 22).
