Chapter 11: Emptying “Grumbling” In the previous chapter, we looked at the life of emptying ourselves of sexual immorality and wrongful desires and turning our love back toward God. Now, in Chapter 11, we will look at another problem that easily settles into our hearts and onto our lips. It is a grumbling heart. As we go through life, there are many moments when we grumble. “Why did this happen to me?” “Why does that person treat me this way?” “Why is my family going through such a difficult time?” “Why is the church like this?” “Why did God allow this?” Even when we do not speak these words aloud, we may repeat them countless times in our hearts. But in the Bible, grumbling is not merely a matter of uttering a few complaints. 면책해 주는 친구 “면책은 숨은 사랑보다 나으니라 친구의 통책은 충성에서 말미암은 것이나 원수의 자주 입맞춤은 거짓에서 난 것이니라” (Better is open rebuke than hidden love. Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses) ( 잠언 27:5-6). 제가 기록된 하나님의 말씀의 범위에 벗어나서 죄를 범하고 있을 때 저는 제 주위 사람들의 " 입맞춤 " 과 같은 말들에 귀를 기울이고 싶지 않습니다 . 또한 저는 제가 범죄하고 있을 때 저의 죄를 덮어주므로 사랑을 표현하는 친구보다 저로 하여금 옳바른 길을 걷게 하고자 저의 죄를 하나님의 사랑으로 면책해 주는 친구를 더 좋아하는 사람이 되고 싶습니다 , 그 친구의 면책이 비록 제 마음에는 상처가 되겠지만 그 상처는 신뢰할 만한 것이기에 그 상처로 인하여 제가 변화되고 싶습니다 .
