Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commands and decrees blamelessly” [(Modern Translation: “When Herod was king of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah of the division of Abijah, and his wife Elizabeth also came from the family of Aaron. They were righteous before God and faithfully kept all the Lord’s commandments and regulations without fault”)] (Luke 1:5–6). (Paul David Tripp, "INSTRUMENTS IN THE REDEEMER'S HANDS") ------------- "이혼"하면 처음으로 기억나는 것은 제가 2001-2003년 한국에서 살고 있었을 때 대학 후배가 저희가 살던 빌라에 찾아와서 자신이 이혼을 했다고 말한 것입니다. 그 때 저는 제 주위에 친하게 지내든 지체들 중에 이혼한 사람이 없었는데 그 후배가 이혼했다고 해서 좀 놀랬습니다. 그 후로 약 20년이 지난 현재, 제 주위에 이혼한 지체들이 여려명이나 됩니다. 심지어 제가 첫 번째로 주례했던 사람도 이혼을 했다가 지금은 재결합에서 살고 있습니다. 이제는 대학교 후배나 친구 뿐만 아니라 친척 중에도 이혼한(이혼을 당한) 친척도 있습니다. 참 쉽지 않은 주제입니다. 그 이유는 "이혼"이란 주제는 민감하고, 매우 개인적이며, 부부가 이혼한 이유(사유?)가 한 두가지가 아니기 때문입니다. 제가 알고만 있는 이유(사유)도 충분히 알고 있는 것도 아니구요. 그리고 이혼을 한 지체들도 있겠지만 제가 아는 지체들 중에는 이혼을 당한 경우도 여러 명이 있기 때문에 "이혼"이란 주제에 대해서 말하기가 곤란한 것은 사실입니다. 그런데 조금 전에 인터넷 사역을 하던 중에 Paul David Tripp이란 목사님이 쓴 글을 보고 강하게 동의하는 점이 있어서 그 한 부분만 좀...
