질투와 미움은 이미 마음으로 상대방을 살인한 것이나 마찬가지인 것 같습니다. 살인적인 미움으로 동생 아벨을 죽인 형 가인 ( 창세기 4:8; 요한일서 3:12) 과 살인적인 미움으로 동생 야곱을 미워하여 죽이려고 결심한 형 에서 ( 창세기 27:41) 를 생각할 때 살인적인 질투로 다윗을 죽이려고 했던 사울 왕 ( 사무엘상 18:9) 이 생각납니다 . 이렇게 질투와 미움은 이미 마음으로 상대방을 살인한 것이나 마찬가지인 것 같습니다 ( 참고 : 마태복음 5:28, 15:19; 갈라디아서 5:19-21; 요한일서 3:15).
