A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. In order to save fallen humanity, God first comes to us, sends His Son, and sends the Holy Spirit. He is the “missionary God” who sends. ( 참고 : 출애굽기 1:9-11, 현대인의 성경 ) 기독교인들이 학대를 받으면 받을수록 더 많이 번성해야 하는 것이 아닌가요 ? 어떻게 이단들이 학대를 받으면 받을수록 더 많이 번성하고 있는 듯한 것인지요 ? 어쩌면 지금 우리 기독교인들이 학대를 받기보다 대접을 더 많이 받고 있어서 그런 것은 아닌지요 ? ( 참고 : 출애굽기 1:12) 우리의 생활을 괴롭히면 괴롭힐 수록 우리는 더 많이 번성하며 더 막강한 예수님의 제자들이 돼야 하지 않나요 ? ( 참고 : 출애굽기 1:7, 11-13, 현대인의 성경 ) 하나님께서는 우리가 괴롭힘과 학대를 받으면 받을수록 더 많이 번성케하시사 우리를 괴롭히며 학대하는 자들로 하여금 우리를 두려워하게 하십니다 ( 참고 : 출애굽기 1:12, 현대인의 성경 ). 이집트 사람들은 학대를 받으면 받을수록 더 많이 번성하는 이스라엘 사람들을 두려워한 반면에 히브리 산파인 십브라와 부아는 하나님을 두려워했습니다 ( 출애굽기 1:12, 15, 17, 현대인의 성경 ). 우리는 사람을 두려워하지 말고 하나님을 두려워해야 합니다 . 그래서 우리는 사람의 명령을 듣고 그 명령대로 행하기보다 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 순종해야 합니다 . 하나님께서는 하나님을 두려워하는 자들에게 은혜를 베푸십니다 ( 참고 : 출애굽기 1:20).
