내가 할 수 없는 일은 내 능력 밖에 일인 줄 알고 믿음으로 전능하신 하나님께 그 일을 기도로 맡기고 내가 할 수 있는 일만이라도 주님이 공급해주시는 은혜의 힘과 능력과 지혜로 묵묵히 감사함으로 감당하자. (처제와 대화를 나눈 후 든 생각)

Even though I have sinned, I feel no shame. This is because I do not recognize that I have sinned. U am so insensitive to sin that I am in a very serious spiritual state . ​ Unless the bitter root of sin is uprooted, no matter how much I cut off the tree or the bud, the bud and tree will inevitably grow again. ​ Reform without internal change and obedience to the Word is nothing more than a flashy display of external rituals . ​ Without repentance for disobedience to the Word, I cannot change. ​ I lack the ability to repent. ‘The Name Jesus’         While meditating on the verse “And when eight days were completed for his circumcision, he was named Jesus, the name given by the angel before he was conceived” ( Luke 2:21 ), I desire to receive the grace that comes from this meditation:     (1)     When I meditate on this verse — “he was named Jesus” (Lk. 2:21) — I have been particularly struck by the phrase.   According to Scripture it says, “as the angel had named him before he was conceived” [“they named him ‘Jesus,’ just as the angel had instructed before he was conceived” ( Modern Korean Bible )] (v. 21).   Here the “angel” is the angel Gabriel (1:26), and what Gabriel told Mary was, “You will conceive and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus” (v. 31).   (a)     When I reflect on the name “Jesus,” Matthew 1:21 comes to mind: “She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his...

 '예수 그 이름'       “ 할례할 팔 일이 되매 그 이름을 예수라 하니 곧 잉태하기 전에 천사가 일컬은 바러라 ”( 누가복음 2:21) 하는 말씀을 묵상하면서 주시는 은혜를 받고자 합니다 :     (1)    저는 이 말씀을 묵상할 때 “ 그 이름을 예수라 ” 하였다 ( 눅 2:21) 는 말씀에 관심을 갖게 되었습니다 .   성경에 의하면 “ 곧 잉태하기 전에 천사가 일컬은 바러라 ”[“ 천사가 전에 일러준 대로 그 이름을 ‘ 예수 ’ 라고 지었다 ”( 현대인의 성경 )](21 절 ) 하고 말씀하고 있는데 여기서 “ 천사 ” 는 “ 천사 가브리엘 ”(1:26) 이고 천사 가브리엘이 마리아에게 일러준 것은 “ 보라 네가 잉태하여 아들을 낳으리니 그 이름을 예수라 하라 ”(31 절 ) 는 말씀입니다 .   (a)    여기서 저는 “ 예수 ” 라는 이름을 묵상할 때 마태복음 1 장 21 절 말씀이 생각났습니다 : “ 아들을 낳으리니 이름을 예수라 하라 이는 그가 자기 백성을 그들의 죄에서 구원할 자이심이라 하니라 .”   그리고 “ 이름을 예수라 하라 ”[( 현대인의 성경 ) “ 그의 이름을 ‘ 예수 ’ 라고 불러라 ”] 는 말씀을 묵상할 때 “ 하라 ”[“ 불러라 ”( 현대인의 성경 ) 는 헬라어 단어인 “καλέσεις” 를 인터넷에 찾아보았습니다 .     (i)                   그리했을 때 저는 이 헬라어 단어가 마태복음 ...
