살려 두지 못할 사람 (눅 23; 롬6:23) 사도 바울은 청렴 결백한 사람이었습니다 . 하지만 그는 유대인 모든 무리에게 “살려두지 못할 사람”으로 낙인 찍혔습니다 . 총독 베스도도 그에게서 아무런 죽일만한 죄를 찾지 못했지만 유대인들은 그는 살려 두지 못할 사람으로 낙인 찍었고 그는 사형수나 마찬가지였습니다 . 그를 보면서 우리는 예수님을 생각합니다 . 고소를 당하셨을 때 빌라도는 예수님에게서 아무런 죽일 만한 죄를 찾지 못하였음에도 불구하고 유대인 무리들은 예수님을 십자가에 못 박혀 죽게 하였습니다 ( 눅 23). 이 얼마나 억울한 죽음입니까 ? 왜 예수님께서는 저주의 나무인 십자가에 죽임을 당하셔야만 했습니까 ? 그 이유는 저와 여러분들에게 영생을 주시기 위해서입니다 ( 롬 6:23). 이 영생의 선물을 받고 싶지 않으십니까 ? 받기 위해선 예수님을 믿어야 합니다 . 하나님께서 구원에 이르는 믿음을 선물을 여러분에게 주시길 기원합니다 .
