고난을 통하여 하나님의 말씀을 배우게 된다면 그것은 유익한 고난이지만, 고난을 통하여 아무 배움도 없다면 그것은 무익한 고난입니다(참고: 시편 119:71).
고난을 겪어보니 그 고난 가운데 주시는 하나님의 약속의 말씀은 저에게 “천금보다 더 소중합니다”(참고: 시편 119:72, 현대인의 성경).
천금보다 더 소중한 하나님의 말씀을 고난을 통해서라도 배울 수 있도록 주님께서 저에게 깨닫는 마음을 주시길 기원합니다(참고: 시편 119:71-73, 현대인의 성경).
주님의 사랑의 공동체 안에서 주님의 말씀을 신뢰하고 바라는 성도들을 볼 때 우리는 함께 기뻐합니다(참고: 시편 119:74, 현대인의 성경).
