교만한
자들이 이유 없이 우리를 비난할지라도 우리를 주님의 교훈을 묵상하는 가운데 주님께서 우리에게 약속하신 대로 주님의 한결 같은 사랑이 우리의 위로가
될 것입니다(참고: 시편 119:76,

우리가
주님의 구원을 사모하다가 지칠 수 있으나 그래도 우리는 주님의 말씀을 끝까지 신뢰해야 합니다(참고: 시편 119:81,
현대인의 성경).
주님께서
나에게 하신 약속을 언제 이루실지 내가 기다리다가 지칠 수 있지만 그래도 나는 주님의 약속의 말씀을 잊지 않고 있습니다. 진실하신 주님께서 주님의 때에 주님의 방법으로 나에게 하신 약속을 반드시 이루시므로 나를 위로하실 것입니다(참고: 시편 119:82-83, 현대인의 성경).
주님의
말씀을 신뢰하지 않고 그 말씀을 지키지 않을 때 우리의 마음이 교만해질 것입니다. 이렇게 교만해진 자는 불에 오그라든 가죽부대처럼 쓸모없는
자가 될 것입니다(참고: 시편 119:81, 83,
85, 현대인의 성경).
