Without faith we cannot obey!     When God said to Gideon, "With the 300 men who lapped I will save you and give the Midianites into your hands. Let all the others go home," Gideon dismissed the rest of the men, except the 300, as God had instructed (Judges 7:7-8). However, considering that "the Midianites, Amalekites, and other eastern peoples had settled in the valley, thick as locusts. Their camels could no more be counted than the sand on the seashore" (v. 12), how was Gideon able to send 12,000 of the 22,000 Israelites home according to God's word (v. 3), and then send the remaining 11,700 people home, leaving only 300? (v. 8) For Gideon to be able to obey God's word was an impossible task without faith. He acted according to God's word because he believed in what God said, "With the 300 men who lapped I will save you and give the Midianites into your hands" (v.7). As God said and promised ...     God is a God who does what He says (Deuteronomy 26:18). Our God is a God who acts upon us as He promised (v. 19).

Clean fine linen     Having been justified by God, we will participate in the wedding feast of the Lamb in the new heaven and new earth. Revelation 19:7-8 says: "Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear" (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints). At this wedding feast, the groom is Jesus Christ, and the bride is us, who believe in Jesus and have been justified. The "fine linen" we will wear symbolizes justification, which God has clothed us with (Note: the verb in verse 8 is passive, indicating that God has clothed us with the fine linen). As the bride, which is the church, and those who have been justified by God, we must prepare ourselves (Note: the verb in verse 7 is active,   indicating that we, the bride, must prepare ourselves). 감사하는 마음으로 하나님 아버지께 찬양하는 가정 (4)   지혜로운 여인은 하나님의 뜻대로 삽니다 ( 참고 : 잠 14:8).   지혜로운 여인은 자기 남편을 존경할 뿐만 아니라 ( 엡 6:33) 또한 남편으로 하여금 사람들에게도 존경을 받게합니다 ( 잠 31:23).   지혜로운 여인은 남편의 책망도 겸손히 듣습니다 .     오히려 그녀는 남편의 책망을 환영합니다 .   그 이유는 그녀는 남편의 책망을 자신에게 유익되게 할 줄 알기 때문입니다 .     즉 , 지혜로운 여인은 남편의 책망으로 하여금 자기 자신에게 학식을 더하게 할 줄 압니다 (1:5; 9:9).   지혜로운 여인은 자기 남편에게 말하지 않고 행동으로 옮겨야 할 때를 압니다 ( 삼상 25:19).   지혜로운 여인은 위기 때 신속히 행합니다 ( 삼상 25:34, 42).     남편의 죄를 자기에게 돌려 하나님께 용서를 구합니다 (24, 28 절 ).     남편으로 하여금 마음에 걸리는 일을 하지 않도록 막습니다 (31, 33 절 ).   남편을 세웁니다 (28-30 절 ).   지혜로운 여인은 주님께 하듯 남편에게 복종합니다 ( 엡 5:22; 골 3:18).   그 이유는 그것은 주님을 믿는 사람으로서 마땅히 해야 할 일이기 때문입니다 ( 골 3:18).   그러므로 그녀는 하나님의 말씀이 비난을 받게하지 않습니다 ( 딛 2:5).   육신의 눈으로 보이는 남편에게 복종하지 않고 있는 여자는 보이지 않는 주님께 복종하고 있는 것이 아닙니다 .                  

주간 짧은 말씀 묵상       우리가 하나님께서 주시는 안식을 얻을 때 하나님께서는 우리에게 나타나셔서 “ 내가 영원한 사랑으로 너희를 사랑하였으므로 한결같은 사랑으로 너희를 인도하였다 ” 라고 말씀하실 것입니다 ( 참고 : 예레미야 31:3, 현대인의 성경 ).   주님은 주님의 교회를 반드시 다시 세우심으로 우리가 세움을 받을 것입니다 ( 참고 : 예레미야 31:4).   하나님께서 우리를 구원하시되 우리보다 강한 사탄의 손에서 우리를 속량하셨으니 우리는 하나님의 전에 올라가 하나님께서 베풀어 주신 모든 영적인 축복들로 인해 크게 기뻐하며 하나님을 찬송할 수밖에 없습니다 .   우리의 심령은 물 댄 동산 같아서 다시는 걱정할 일이 없습니다 .   우리는 춤을 추고 기뻐하며 모든 성도들이 함께 즐거워합니다 .   주님은 우리의 슬픔을 돌이켜 기쁨이 되게 하시고 우리를 위로하셔서 근심 대신 기쁨을 주십니다 .   우리에게 풍성한 것을 채워주시는 주님의 좋은 것으로 우리는 만족합니다 ( 참고 : 예레미야 31:12-13, 현대인의 성경 ).   우리의 장래에 소망이 있습니다 ( 참고 : 예레미야 31:17).   우리는 하나님의 사랑하는 자녀들이요 기뻐하시는 아들들과 딸들입니다 .   하나님께서 우리를 가끔 꾸짖긴 하시지만 우리를 여전히 기억하고 계십니다 .   하나님의 마음은 우리를 그리워하시며 우리를 불쌍히 여기시는 것입니다 ( 참고 : 예레미야 31:20, 현대인의 성경 ).   주님은 피곤한 사람을 상쾌하게 하시고 지쳐있는 사람들을 만족하게 하십니다 ...
