Herod wants to kill You.’   He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.”   In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem!   Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.   Look, your house is left to you desolate.   I tell you, you will not see Me again until you say, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord” (Luke 13:31–35).     ...

The Bible says ...

The Bible says, “You shall not commit adultery.”

 

The Bible says, "You shall not commit adultery" (Exodus 20:14).

Jesus said, "But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully

has already committed adultery with her in his heart" (Matthew 5:28),

and "Anyone who divorces his wife

and marries another woman commits adultery against her.

And if she divorces her husband

and marries another man, she commits adultery (Luke 16:18).

 

 

The Bible says, “Do not covet your neighbor’s house.”

 

The Bible says, "You shall not covet your neighbor's house" (Exodus 20:17).

It also says, "You shall not covet your neighbor's wife" (Deuteronomy 5:21).

We should not covet anything that belongs to our neighbor (v. 21).

 

 

The Bible says, “Do not bear false witness against your neighbor.”

 

The Bible says, "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor" (Exodus 20:16).

Bearing false witness against one's neighbor

is like using a club, a sword, or a sharp arrow (Proverbs 25:18).

We should not give false testimony against our brother (Deuteronomy 19:18).



The Bible says, “You shall not steal.”

 

The Bible says, "You shall not steal" (Exodus 20:15).

God says, "Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me.

But you ask, 'How are we robbing you?'  In tithes and offerings"

(Malachi 3:8).
