We are God’s precious, holy people!

 

 

Just as an eagle protects its young with its wings,

God protected the children of Israel and led them to Himself.

He made them His treasured possession among all nations

by ensuring they listened to His words and kept His covenant.

Specifically, He made them a kingdom of priests and a holy nation

(Exodus 19:4-6).

We are precious and honored in God's sight, and He loves us

(Isaiah 43:4).

We are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession.

This is so that we may declare the praises of Him

who called us out of darkness into His wonderful light

(1 Peter 2:9).
