A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. 만일 우리가 하나님의 명령에 순종하여 죄의 노릇을 이상하지 않고 자유인답게 살다가 마음이 변하여 다시 죄의 노릇을 한다면 그것은 하나님의 명령에 불순종하는 것이요 하나님의 이름을 더럽히는 것입니다.  우리는 우리 자신을 다시 죄에게 종살이를 시켜서는 아니 됩니다(참고: 예레미야 34:10-16, 현대인의 성경).
