“ 그리스도의 일을 위하여 죽기에 이르러도 …” [ 빌립보서 2 장 25-30 절 말씀 묵상 ] 토니 캠폴로 ( Tony Campolo ) 는 노인문제를 연구한 결과를 발표한 바 있습니다 ( 인터넷 ). 95 세 이상이 된 노인 50 명을 상대로 설문조사를 했는데 < 당신들에게 이제 다시 삶이 주어진다면 어떻게 살아가고 싶습니까 ?> 라는 설문이었습니다 . 3 가지씩 답을 하라고 했습니다 . 이에 대한 3 가지 답은 아래와 같았습니다 : (1) 첫째 , 날마다 반성하는 삶을 살겠다였습니다 ( They would reflect more ). 그동안 정신없이 살아서 왜 사는 지도 생각 못하고 살았다 . 좀 더 정신 차려 살겠다 . (2) 둘째 , 너무 비겁하게 살았다는 것입니다 ( They would risk more ). 불의와 타협하며 살고 남의 눈치나 보고 살았다 . 이제부터는 좀 더 용감하게 살고 싶다 . (3) 셋째 내가 죽은 후에도 계속될 일들을 더 많이 하겠다 ( They would do more things that would live on after they were dead ). 죽음을 생각하고 살고 싶다 . 죽은 후에 나는 어떻게 되는가 . 무엇을 남길 것인가 후회스럽다 . 내가 생각 없이 산 것이 후회스럽다고 공통적으로 고백하고 있다 ( 인터넷 ). 우리는 이미 빌립보서 2 장 19-24 절 말씀 중심으로 사도 바울이 빌립보 교회에게 속히 보내기를 원했던 그의 영적 아들이요 믿음의 신실한 아들인 디모데에 대해서 묵상했었습니다 . ...
