A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. 바랄 수 없는 중에 바라는 믿음 [ 로마서 4 장 18-25 절 말씀 묵상 ] 지난 주 새벽기도회 때 민수기 말씀을 읽고 묵상하는 시간을 가졌었습니다 . 묵상한 말씀 중 민수기 13-14 장을 보면 가나안 땅을 탐지하고 돌아온 12 명의 족장들 중 두 사람인 갈렙과 여호수아는 믿음으로 보고하였지만 나머지 10 명의 정탐군들은 불신의 보고를 하였습니다 . 즉 이 10 명은 가나안 땅의 거민들은 강하고 심히 클 뿐아니라 장대한 자들로서 그들이 올라가지 못할 것이며 그들을 치지 못하리라고 악평을 하였습니다 . 그들과 비교해 볼 때 10 명의 정탐군들은 스스로 보기에 메뚜기 같다고 생각하였습니다 (13:28-33). 그러므로 그 악평을 들은 이스라엘 온 회중은 소리를 높여 부르짖으며 밤새도록 곡하면서 (14:1) 모세와 아론을 원망하였습니다 (2 절 ). 그러한 가운데서 이스라엘 백성들은 한 장관을 세우고 애굽으로 돌아가자고 서로 말하였던 것입니다 (4 절 ). 이 소리를 다 들으신 하나님께서는 모세에게 “ 이 백성이 어느 때까지 나를 멸시 하겠느냐 내가 그들 중에 모든 이적을 행한 것도 생각하지 아니하고 어느 때까지 나를 믿지 않겠느냐”고 말씀하셨습니다 (11 절 ). 이 말씀을 묵상하는 가운데 하나님께서는 저에게 “ 어느 때까지 나를 믿지 않겠느냐”고 말씀하시고 있지 않나 자문하여 보았습니다 . 불신은 하나님을 멸시하는 범죄요 불신은 결국 하나님의 계명에 불순종하게 만든다는 사실을 생각해 볼 때 하나님의 능력을...
