Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. 우리는 불신자들처럼 슬퍼하지 말아야 합니다.  우리는 주님 안에서 잠든 성도들에 대해서 불신자들처럼 슬퍼하지 말아야 합니다 .   그 이유는 우리는 예수님이 죽으셨다가 다시 살아나신 것을 믿고 또한 예수님을 믿다가 죽은 사람들도 하나님이   예수님과 함께 데리고 오실 것을 믿기 때문입니다 ( 데살로니가전서 4:13-14, 현대인의 성경 ).
