God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. 일본에서 선교하고 있는 사랑하는 딸 예리와 함께 저희 부부가 시간을 짧게 보내면서 제가 느낀 점은 예리가 시간을 아끼고 있다는 것입니다. 1년 헌신하고 일본에 선교하러 주님의 부르심이 있어서 갔는데 벌써 4개월이 다 되어간다는 사실이 그녀에게는 세월이 너무나 빨리 가고 아까운가 봅니다. 그래서 저는 예리를 통해 에베소서 5장 16절 상반절 말씀이 생각났습니다: "세월을 아끼라"[(현대인의 성경) "시간을 아끼십시오"]. 그래서 오늘 화요 가족 예배 때 이 말씀 중심으로 이번에 사랑하는 아내와 부부 여행으로 제주도에 가서 아내가 100 km 마라톤을 한 것을 통해 제가 얻은 교훈 2가지와 일본에 가서 예리와 대화 속에서 얻은 교훈과 다시 서울로 와서 아내와 함께 인터넷 사역을 통해 배운 교훈, 이렇게 3가지 교훈을 설교 시간에 나눴습니다. https://youtu.be/QUYJ1ALWYQ8?si=dyEiH2SnFHrcq_cu
