르우벤 지파와 갓 지파와 므낫세 동쪽 반 지파는 모세가 명령한 것을 지키고 또 여호수아의 모든 명령에도 순종하여 이렇게 오랫동안 그들의 형제들 (9 개 지파와 므낫세 나머지 반 지파 ) 을 떠나지 않고 하나님께서 명령하신 일을 책임껏 수행했습니다 . 그 결과 하나님께서 약속하신 대로 그들의 형제들에게 평안을 주셨습니다 ( 여호수아 22:1-4, 현대인의 성경 ). 우리도 그들처럼 하나님의 명령과 일치된 하나님의 종의 명령에 순종하되 하나님께서 명령하신 일을 책임껏 수행함으로 하나님께서 우리 형제들에게 평안을 주시길 기원해야 합니다 .
