하나님께서 여러분의 억울함을 보시고 여러분을 위하여 원통함을 풀어주시길 기원합니다. 다윗은 최선을 다해서 모든 일에 사울 왕을 도와주었습니다 . 그는 자기 생명을 아끼지 않고 나가서 블레셋 장군인 골리앗을 죽였고 그 결과로 하나님께서 이스라엘에게 큰 승리를 주셨습니다 . 그 때 사울 왕은 무척 기뻐했습니다 . 그러므로 사울 왕은 다윗을 해칠 만한 이유가 전혀 없었습니다 . 그런데 사울 왕은 살인적인 질투의 눈으로 다윗을 보기 시작한 다음부터는 까닭 없이 죄 없는 다윗을 죽여 하나님께 범죄하려고 했습니다 ( 사무엘상 18:9; 19:4-5, 현대인의 성경 ). 혹시 우리는 상대방을 위해 최선을 다해 도와주려고 하는데 그 상대방은 우리를 최선을 대해 해하려고 하는 것은 아닌지요 ? 우리가 그 상대방에게 해침을 받을 만한 일을 전혀 하지도 않았는데도 불구하고 그 상대방은 이유가 전혀 없이 죄 없는 우리를 해치려고 하는 것은 아닌지요 ? 하나님께서 우리의 억울함을 보시고 우리를 위하여 원통함을 풀어주시되 ( 예레미야 애가 3:59) 우리를 그 상대방의 손에서 건져주시길 기원합니다 ( 사무엘상 24:15).
