Assurance of salvation         [Romans 8:28-29]                          Look at Romans 8:28-29: “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.   For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren.”   The word “salvation” does not appear in these verses.   But if we look at the content, the Apostle Paul is talking about salvation.   In particular, these verses are about the assurance of salvation.   That's why I have chosen the title of the meditation, “Assurance of salvation.”                First, what is ‘salvation’ in Romans 8:28-29?        ...
