God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. 우리도 사울처럼 모르고 있는 것은 아닐까요 ? 사울 왕이 하나님께 처음으로 단을 쌓고 " 내가 블레셋 군을 추격해야 합니까 ? 주께서 그들을 우리 손에 넘겨 주시겠습니까 ?" 하고 물어보았을 때 하나님은 그 날 아무 대답도 하지 않으셨습니다 ( 하나님의 침묵 ). 사울이 이스라엘 백성의 지도자들에게 " 무엇인가 잘못되었소 . 이 일이 누구 죄 때문인지 한번 알아봅시다 . 이스라엘을 구원하신 여호와의 이름으로 맹세합니다 . 만일 죄를 범한 자가 내 아들 요나단이라 할지라도 그는 반드시 죽임을 당할 것이오 !" 라고 말했을 때 한 사람도 그의 말에 대답하는 자가 없었습니다 ( 이스라엘 백성의 지도자들의 침묵 )( 사무엘상 14:37-39, 현대인의 성경 ). 이 말씀을 묵상할 때 하나님만 사울에게 침묵하신 것이 아니라 이스라엘 백성의 지도자들도 침묵한 것을 보면 사울 왕이 " 무엇인가 잘못되었고 . 이 일이 누구 죄 때문인지 한번 알아봅시다 "(38 절 , 현대인의 성경 ) 라고 말했을 때 그 " 누구 " 가 자신인줄은 몰랐던 것 같습니다 . 그리고 자신이 " 무엇 " 을 잘못했는지도 몰랐던 것 같습니다 . 우리도 사울처럼 모르고 있는 것은 아닐까요 ?
