A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. In order to save fallen humanity, God first comes to us, sends His Son, and sends the Holy Spirit. He is the “missionary God” who sends. 편애 예수님께서는 " 네 이웃을 네 몸과 같이 사랑하라 " 고 명하셨습니다 ( 마 22:39). 그런데 우리는 이웃을 사랑함에 있어서 편애 (favoritism) 하고 있습니다 . 즉 , 우리는 사람을 외모로 취하고 있습니다 ( 약 2:1). 우리는 사람을 차별하고 있습니다 (4 절 ). 이것은 악한 생각으로 판단하는 것이요 (4 절 ) 그 사람을 괄시하는 것입니다 (6 절 ). 성경은 우리가 외모로 사람을 취하는 것은 하나님께 죄를 짖는 것이라고 말씀하고 있습니다 (9 절 ).
