예수님께서는 "네 이웃을 네 몸과 같이 사랑하라"고 명하셨습니다( 22:39).
그런데 우리는 이웃을 사랑함에 있어서 편애(favoritism)하고 있습니다.
, 우리는 사람을 외모로 취하고 있습니다( 2:1).
우리는 사람을 차별하고 있습니다(4).
이것은 악한 생각으로 판단하는 것이요(4) 그 사람을 괄시하는 것입니다(6).
성경은 우리가 외모로 사람을 취하는 것은 하나님께 죄를 짖는 것이라고 말씀하고 있습니다(9).
