A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. In order to save fallen humanity, God first comes to us, sends His Son, and sends the Holy Spirit. He is the “missionary God” who sends. 인생의 위기

  위기의 기회     [ 시편  86 편 말씀 묵상 ]                 오늘 대학교 후배의 어머님의 장례식에 다녀왔습니다 .    그 후배의 어머님은 한국 연세로 팔순이신데 갑자기 쓰러지셔서 돌아가셨습니다 .    심장마비였다고 합니다 .    심장마비로 너무나 갑자가 돌아가셔서 유일한 친딸인 그 후배는 아직도 충격 속에 있는 것 같습니다 .    그 후배의 말로는  “ 지금이 내 생애 아직까지 살면서 가장 힘든 것 같아요 ” 라고 합니다 .    그 후배의 인생에  “ 가장 힘든 ”  위기를 접하고 있다고 생각합니다 .    이러한 가장 힘든 위기는 우리 모두가 이미 겪지 않았다면 앞으로 다 겪을 수밖에 없습니다 .    그 이유는 우리 모두는 언젠가는  “ 죽을 수밖에 없 ” 기 때문입니다 ( 전 7:2,  현대인의 성경 ).    우리는 이 사실을 알면서도 사랑하는 가족의 죽음은 참으로 힘들 수밖에 없다고 생각합니다 .                  오늘 본문 시편  86 편을 보면 시편 기자 다윗은 그의 인생에 매우 힘든 위기의 상황을 접하고 있었습니다 .    그 위기의 상황을 다윗은 몇 마디로 묘사를 하였습니다 : “ 내가 큰 어려움을 당하고 있습니다 ”(1 절 ,  현대인의 성경 ), “ 내가 환난 날에 주께 부르짖습니다 ”(7 절 ,  현대인의 성경 ), “ 내 영혼을 깊은 스올에서 ”(13 절 ), “ 교만한 자들이 와서 나를 치고 잔인한 ...
