They were righteous before God and faithfully kept all the Lord’s commandments and regulations without fault”)] (Luke 1:5–6). "주는 선하사 선을 행하시오니 ..." (시편 119편 68절).
하나님은 선하시기에 우리에게 선을 행하십니다.
우리고 고난 당할 때에도 하나님은 우리에게 선을 행하십니다(67, 71절).
과연 우리에게 고난을 허락하시는 하나님의 선하신 뜻은 무엇일까요?
그것은 우리로 하여금 하나님의 계명을 "배우게" 하시려는 것입니다(71절).
그것은 우리로 하여금 순종함을 배우게 하기 위해서입니다(히 5:8).
그것은 우리에게
"지식"(바른 판단력)을
주시기 위해서 입니다(시 119:66).
그것은 하나님께서 우리를 선대하시고 계시다는 것을 깨닫게 하시기 위해서입니다(65절).
