We are taught that we must become upright people who, in God’s sight, are blameless and fully keep His commandments. “In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron. Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commands and decrees blamelessly” [(Modern Translation: “When Herod was king of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah of the division of Abijah, and his wife Elizabeth also came from the family of Aaron. They were righteous before God and faithfully kept all the Lord’s commandments and regulations without fault”)] (Luke 1:5–6). 마음에 찔림
우리는 성령의 검인 예수 그리스도의 복음을 듣고 마음에 찔림이있어야
합니다(사도행전 2:37; 7:54).
마치 사도 베드로의 설교를 듣고 마음에 찔려 "우리가 어찌할꼬" 하면서(2:37)
회개하여 각각 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 세례를 받고 죄사함을 받았던
3,000명의 사람들처럼(38절) 우리는 목사님을
통하여 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 마음에 찔려 우리의 죄를 회개해야 합니다.
그러나 왠지 지금 우리는 스데반 집사의 설교를 듣고 그를 향하여 이를 갈뿐만 아니라(7:54) 돌로 그를
쳐 죽인 것처럼(58절) 마음에 찔려 우리에게 하나님의 말씀을 선포한
목사님에게 분노하며 불평하며 혀로 죽이고 있지 않나 생각합니다.
