우리는 하나님께 돌아가야 합니다. 비록 하나님께서 우리를 찢으셨으나 우리를 다시 낫게 하실 것이며 우리에게 상처를 입히셨으나 우리를 싸매 주실 것이기 때문입니다(참고: 호세아 6:1, 현대인의 성경).
우리는 하나님을 힘써 알아가야 합니다. 하나님의 나타나심은 동이 트는 것처럼 확실합니다. 하나님은 땅을 적시는 봄비와 같이 우리에게 임하실 것입니다(참고: 호세아 6:3, 현대인의 성경).
하나님께서는 하나님을 향한 우리의 사랑이 아침 안개와 같고 일찍 사라지는 이슬과 같은 것을 잘 알고 계십니다(참고: 호세아 6:4, 현대인의 성경).
하나님께서 우리에게 원하시는 것은 일천번제와 같은 제사(예배)가 아닙니다. 하나님께서는 자비와 우리가 하나님을 아는 것을 원하십니다(참고: 호세아 6:6, 현대인의 성경).
하나님께서는 주님의 교회에서 끔찍한 일을 보셨습니다. 신부된 교회가 신랑되신 주님을 떠나 “우상을 섬겨 창녀짓을 하였으므로”
