사랑하는 식구에게 오해를 받을 때 ... 다윗의 큰 형 엘리압은 막내 동생 다윗을 오해했습니다 . 분명히 다윗은 아버지 이새의 말씀에 순종하여 사울 왕을 따라 싸움에 나간 세 명의 형인 엘리압과 아비나답과 삼마를 위하여 " 이 볶은 곡식 한 에바와 이 떡 열 덩이를 가지고 진영으로 속히 가서 네 형들에게 주고 이 치즈 열 덩이를 가져다가 그들의 천부장에게 주고 네 형들을 안부를 살피고 증표를 가 " 지고 가려고 진영에 온 것인데 , 엘리압은 다윗이 " 전쟁을 구경하러 왔 " 다고 오해를 했습니다 . 그 뿐만 아니라 엘리압은 자기 동생 다윗에게 " 네가 어찌하여 이리로 내려왔느냐 들에 있는 양들을 누구에게 맡겼느냐 나는 네 교만과 네 마음의 완악함을 아노니 ....". 그 때 다윗은 이렇게 답변했습니다 : " 내가 무엇을 하였나이까 어찌 이유가 없으리이까 " ( 삼상 17:13, 17-20, 28-29). 사랑하는 가족 형제 / 자매에게 ' 오해 ' 를 받는다는 것 쉽지 않겠지만 우리가 하나님 아버지의 말씀에 순종하고 있는 것이라면 , 그러한 오해도 극복해 나가야 합니다 . 하나님 아버지께서는 우리를 다 ' 이해 ' 하시고 계시기 때문입니다 .
