우리는 하나님의 "극상 포도나무"입니다(사4:2).
하나님께서는 우리가
"좋은 포도" 맺기를 바라십니다(2절).
그런데 우리는
"들포도"를 맺고 있습니다(2, 4절).
우리는 악취나는 죄악된 열매를 맺고 있습니다.
하나님께서 이렇게 말씀하고 계십니다:
"내가 내 포도원을 위하여 행한 것 외에 무엇을 더할 것이 있었으랴?"(4절).
과연 하나님께서 우리를 위하여 이미 행한 것 외에 무엇을 더하실 수 있었을까요?
이미 우리의 구원을 위하여 독생자 예수님까지 십자가에 내어주신 하나님께서 우리를 위하여 무엇을 더 하실 수 있었을까요?
