A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. 서로 사랑하는 것이 마땅합니다 . 하나님은 사랑이십니다 ! 하나님의 존재 (God ’ s being) 가 “사랑”이시고 , 사랑은 하나님께 속한 것이기에 하나님의 행하심 (God ’ s doing) 은 하나님께서 먼저 우리를 사랑하셨다는 사실입니다 . 하나님께서는 우리 죄를 속하고 , 우리 죄를 없애며 또한 우리를 살리시기 위해서 화목 제물로 하나님의 아들이신 예수 그리스도를 이 땅에 보내셨습니다 . 예수님께서는 십자가에서 유월절 어린양의 희생제물로 받쳐져 죽으시므로 죄를 형벌하셔야 했던 하나님의 거룩하신 요구를 만족케 하셨습니다 . 우리가 무력한 상태에 있을 때에 , 우리가 아직 죄인이었을 때에 , 우리가 하나님과 원수 되었을 때 , 하나님의 독생자 예수 그리스도께서 우리 죄인들을 위해 죽으시므로 하나님과 화목하게 되었습니다 . 허물과 죄로 죽되 영적으로 죽었고 영원히 죽을 수밖에 없었던 우리가 죄사함을 받았고 다시 살린 바 ( 중생 ) 되었습니다 . 이렇게 하나님께서 우리에 대한 사랑을 나타내셨습니다 . 우리의 존재 (our being) 가 하나님의 자녀이고 , 하나님께서 우리를 먼저 사랑하셨기에 우리의 행함 (our doing) 은 하나님께서 우리를 사랑하시듯이 우리도 서로 사랑해야 합니다 . 하나님으로부터 거듭나서 ( 중생해서 ) 영원한 생명을 소유한 저와 여러분은 하나님의 자녀로서 하나님의 계명대로 서로 사랑하므로 하나님을 기쁘시게 하며 하나님의 기쁨이 저와 여러분의 기쁨이 되길 기원합니다 .
