God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. "여호와 이레"?
하나님은 아브라함에게는 "여호와 이레"셨습니다. 즉,
하나님은 아브라함을 위하여 독자 이삭대신 번제할 어린 양을 "여호와의 산에서
준비"해 주셨습니다.
그래서 아브라함은 그 수양을 가져다가 아들대신 번제(제물)로 하나님께 드렸습니다(창세기 22:8, 13-14). 그러나 하나님 아버지께서는 자기 자신에게
"여호와 이레"가 되지 않으셨습니다. 즉, 하나님 아버지께서는
자신을 위하여 독생자 예수 그리스도대신 십자가에 화목제물로 바쳐질 어린 양을 하나님의 산에서 준비하지 않으셨습니다. 오히려 하나님 아버지께서는 유월절 어린 양이신 독생자 예수
그리스도를 직접 준비하셔서 우리 죄를 속하기 위하여 십자가에 화목 제물로 죽게하셨습니다(요한일서
4:10).
