God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! 아브라함은 자기 나이가 백 세가 다 되어 몸은 죽은 것과 다름이 없었고 그의 아내 사라도 나이가 많아 도저히 출산할 수
없는 것을 알고 있었습니다(로마서 4:19, 현대인의 성경). 아브라함의
아내 사라도 너무 늙어 아기를 낳을 수 없었고, 늙은 아브라함도 죽은 사람이나 다름 없었습니다(히브리서 11:11-12, 현대인의 성경). 그래서 하나님께서 "내년 이맘때에 내가 반드시 너에게 돌아올 것이니 네 아내 사라에게 아들일 있을 것이다"하고 말씀하셨을 때 뒤 천막 입구에서 듣고 있었던 사라는 혼자 속으로 웃으며 "내가
노쇠하였고 내 남편도 늙었는데 내가 어떻게 아이를 낳을 수 있겠는가?"하고 중얼거렸습니다. 그때 하나님께서 아브라함에게 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다:
"어째서 사라가 웃으며 내가 늙었는데 어떻게 아들을 낳을 수 있겠는가? 하고 중얼거리는가? 나 여호와에게 불가능한 일이 있겠느냐? 내년 정한 때에 내가 너에게 돌아 올 것이니 사라에게 아들이 있을 것이다"(창세기

사라는 약속하신 하나님이 신실하신 줄 알고 믿음으로 임신하게 되었습니다(히브리서 11:11, 현대인의 성경).
